Hawaii 2011–Day 8

The Beautiful Waimea Canyon!  This was the only play I felt like we didn't have enough time to really enjoy!  Maybe when we go back some day!

We had to try the shaved ice!  Yummy!

On our way home!  Can't wait to do it again in a couple years!  Thanks everybody for watching the kiddos so we could enjoy our fabulous trip!

Hawaii 2011-Day 7

Nerds!

One handsome man!

I loved this whole set up!  I felt like I was walking through a perfect picture!

We tasted some interesting fruits:(  everybody had the same expression on their face after their first taste.

Paul makes me laugh so hard.........so there was a ridiculously skinny and white man in the parking lot.  It was absolutely fascinating.  Paul wanted to get a picture of himself with the man in the background.  As Paul was doing his pose and the man was in the background putting on sunscreen the man quickly apologized and scooted out of the way.  Little did he know that he was the subject of our picture!  Shoot!  Moment lost, but the memory remains!

This poor bird got caught under the fence while we were there.   They had to call in the experts to help him get out.  Once out, and after there were a lot of people around watching the rescue, the bird was a little frightened and lost his breakfast right there in the middle of the crowd!  So it turned from an ahhh so cute the little birdie got rescued to ohhhhhh that was disturbing!

We then went snorkeling at this way cool beach.  I can't remember the name right now but we had so much fun!
