At the end of the photo shoot Ethan's friends showed up at the back door. They all came bursting through the door saying "Ethan, we need you to come and play with us" I could tell Ethan was really excited but then he said, "hmmmmm let me think about this for a minute" All of his friends just stared at him wondering what he was doing the whole time Ethan has his finger tapping on his cheek while deep in thought. Then he finally said "okay" and went to play. He is so funny sometimes! His friends asked what we were doing and I told them we were taking pictures. They all wanted to get there picture taken and this is the result. I love it! They are all so cute together! What a fun neighborhood! I love having so many good friends for Ethan and for me!

In addition to the slideshow..........
Saturday
Sooooooooooooooo on Saturday I decided that it may possibly end up being the longest day in the history of my life. Let me first start off by saying that I do not get bored easily. There is always a million things on my list to do that I could do. But when Jeff decides to study for his test at home and wants it to be quiet and Mylie doesn't let me accomplish anything on my list, let's just say the days become a little longer. So I decided we needed an outing of some sort. I called Chelsea, knowing that Jake is usually working of the house, thinking that she may need an outing as well. We ended up taking the kids bowling and to Carl's Jr. It was lots of fun and helped the day to go by a little bit faster. Thanks Chels and Tay!

Happy Birthday Jeff!!!
Today is my cute little hubby's birthday! I love him sooooo much! He is such a great man! His is a wonderful husband to me and a great father to our kids. He always works so hard to help us to have a great life. He is currently working full time, going to school to get his MBA full time and serving in our ward's Bishopric. And after all of that, he still finds time to play with the kids and rub my feet! I love you Jeffy! Thanks for all you do! (P.S. thanks for all the calls, presents and cookies you are all appreciated)

After the party.................
After the party my mom was wowing us all with her strength and flexibility. We all tried to copy but I think she out did us in every way!
And this is my proudest moment! My mom has always had freakish strength in her arms and legs. She can beat most men in her arm and leg wrestles but check this out. I won this leg wrestle so fast that she is merely a losing blur! What a great picture! I think that you can even see her mouth trying to form a scream of defeat!

Happy Birthday Mylie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My little My My is 1 year old today! This year has flown by! I can't believe it! She is such a cutie pie! I love her so much and I am so happy that she joined our family! We had a great party today with all of mine and Jeff's family. (minus the Roarks, the Frazier's of AZ and the Frazier's of WA who were greatly missed!) We had a Hawaiian Luau and had Hawaiian Haystacks and cake and ice cream. I loved having a luau in the middle of the winter because it is so depressing when the snow just keeps coming!
This is Ethan singing Happy Birthday to Mylie when she first woke up this morning. It was so cute! I think she is trying to sing with him!
This is how we decorated the house. Jeff even found a Hawaiian radio station over the internet directly from Hawaii so we could have authentic music playing for the Luau!
Palm tree cookies complete with coconuts! I couldn't figure out the leaf tip thingamajogger Jylaire! Sorry, I shouldn't even admit that I got the idea from you the way they turned out. They tasted great with your recipe though!
Mylie opening presents. Well.....................Mylie watching Ethan open her presents. She didn't seem to mind too much. She would rather play with the toys anyway! Thanks everybody for the presents they all were great!
My dad seems to fall asleep at every family gathering no matter what is going on around him. My mom caught it on camera this time! I think I will make it a new goal to take a picture of my dad sleeping at every party.
Here is my pathetic attempt at making a pineapple pinata! I try to be creative like Kim but this is all I've got. I know..........it looks more like the fake lemon juice containers you buy at the store. If only that were the theme of the party I would be doing great!
Mylie enjoying her cake. I was so proud of her when she didn't even really get her shirt dirty. She is definitely my daughter!

Bowling
My friend and Jeff's High School friend Cindy's birthday was friday, so we all got together and went bowling. All 10 adults and 11 children! This is Jeff's (and my) High School friends and their wifes and kids. We try to get together with all of them whenever we can. It's very crazy with all the kids but it is always lots of fun. Of the kids, there are currently 8 boys and 3 girls and 1 girl on the way.
Dinner with the girls
We decided to get together for dinner with all of my High School friends. We try to do this every few months so that we can catch up with each other's lives. It was lots of fun although we were missing a few crucial members of the group. Kim, Nicole and Melissa we wish you could have been there!My friend Mandi is having her baby in 3 days! Yay for her! She is such a trooper to come out to dinner with us before the big day. Rachel was also in town and it's always fun to see her!
Up Up and Away!
My dad is going to start training my little brother to be a pilot! How fun and scary is that! Anyway, my dad had to go do a check ride in a little airplane and there were two extra seats. I new Ethan would love it and asked if he could go. They let him on and when I asked if he wanted me to sit next to him or Grandma he chose Grandma. I think we were both a little disappointed! I love to go on those little airplanes and after the ride my mom said she didn't have the urge to ever go again!
Ethan with his head phones! When he found out he was going on an airplane he had to search frantically for these to wear. When he got on the plane he got to wear some real headphones with a microphone! He then could hear what the pilots were saying and they could hear him too. My mom said he kept answering their questions. How cute is that?
At about the end of the runway and before take off he asked Grandma if she brought any books. I guess it wasn't as exciting as I had hoped. He feel asleep shortly after that! Thanks dad for letting him go and mom for going with him!
Finally an update!
Jeff wanted to go for a walk so he bundled up Mylie and brought her with! How cute are they? I love Mylie's hat and gloves! Thanks Mom!
Ethan in his splint and sling! I know I promised pictures a while back but when your camera breaks and your mom, dad and brother don't have time to email a few measly pictures to ya that's what happens! Just kidding everybody, I know your busy. Thanks mom for figuring it out all by your self and sending them to me. I'm so proud! For those who are wondering, Ethan is holding a guy with a sword that my mom let him borrow to take with him to get his cast put on. He obviously thought that was the focus of the picture instead of him or the sling.
New cast just put on. He did great and was so brave! The doctors told him that he should be a doctor like them when he grows up because they don't give shots. He though that was pretty cool and has been telling people ever since! That's fine with me!
This picture is the night before he got his cast off! We finally got our camera back and I didn't know if I was ever going to get the pictures from my family! (Ha Ha)
Ethan wanted to take a picture of Mylie and this is what we got. I love her hair after we take it out of a pony tail at night! Out of control!
This is Ethan's crazy/silly/funny face! It is the same face every time! He insisted on my taking a picture of him doing his silly face with his cast on! (All you people with girls get your daughters asking you to take pictures of them striking various cute poses in adorable outfits and this is what I get!)

I've been tagged! Thanks Brit!
I've been tagged! Great timing too while Jeff is out of town! I don't know if he will check my blog but if he does...................We sure miss you here at home! Ethan keeps asking when you are getting home and he has a whole list of things he wants to do with you! (It keeps getting longer) We hope you are having a great time in Arizona with your brother and family. Say hi to everybody! We wish we were there!

Not much new!
So....the camera is still broken and I am waiting for my mom, dad or Jase to email some pictures (hint hint) so that I have something to post! So in the mean time I will share some of the funny things that Ethan says. He is so entertaining!
When I was driving past the Capitol Building he said;
Ethan- "Wow what building is that!"
Me- "That's the Capitol Building"
Ethan- "But what Capitol is it"
Me- "It's for Salt Lake City which is the Capitol of Utah" (wowed by his intelligence)
Ethan- "Nooooooo Mom, is it a B or an E like me?" (Meaning capitol letters)
I was lifting him into his car seat and he said;
Ethan- "Mom, I love you"
Me- "I love you too buddy"
Ethan- (putting both hands on my cheeks) "and I love your face"
When we were driving home from President Hinckley's viewing;
Ethan- "mom where are all these cars going"
Me- "well......maybe they are going to say good-bye to President Hinckley too"
Ethan- "Well good-bye President Hinckley don't be sad you get to be with your wife now. And don't worry President Hinckley every body loves you!" This made me cry. He is such a cute and thoughtful little boy and a great blessing in my life!
