Bedtime Conversations with Ethan

Ethan- mom when you wish on a star why don't your wishes come true?
Me- Well, I think sometimes they do don't they?
Ethan- Mine don't, do yours?
Me- I wished that I could have another baby in my tummy and now I do, so that wish came true. What did
you wish for?
Ethan- I wished that I could walk on the walls and the ceillings and I can't.
Me- Well, there is something called gravity that kind of ruins that wish.
(I will spare you the details of the gravity questions and answers)
Ethan- well I also wished that our whole city could just be transformers.
Me- Then we wouldn't be here to see it.
Ethan- well then just the transformers and us!
Me- Yeah, I don't think that will happen either. Why don't we try some new wishes, like what would you
really like to do tomorrow?

Next conversation, this one happened a while ago but I keep forgetting to write it down.

Me- Ethan you really need to stay in your bed at night.
Ethan- why?
Me- Because we don't sleep very good with extra people in our bed.
Ethan- Okay
Me- So what do you think we should do to keep you in your bed all night?
Ethan- (After thinking long and hard) Maybe put yummy cheese in there with me!

Update!!!!!!!!!

First off, sorry to anybody who has been waiting for this news. Well, finally yesterday, after a very nerve racking weekend, we went in for the viability scan. We both were really hoping for twins and I really was afraid that I was going to be disapointed if it was only one. As the docter looked at the ultrasound he didn't say much at first. He is a little wierd so this wasn't way out of the norm but still, come on, say something. Then he says, "well...........I am sure that you have one healthy pregnancy." What a weird comment and a weird way to say it. It was so slow and drawn out we didn't know what to expect. In the end he said everything looks great and it is just one. Both Jeff and I admitted to feeling, first, excitement to see the little heart beating, second, slight disappointment that it was only one, then third, about 5 minutes later, relief that it was only one. :) We are both so excited! I really haven't been too sick or tired which is great but not really reassuring when you want to be sure you are still pregnant. Thanks again to all of your for all of your love and support!

A Beautiful Girl and a very talented Uncle Jase!

Jason had an assignment for school and decided to use my beautiful girl as his model! I absolutely love how the pictures turned out. Great job Jase! I may have to hire you in the future!

Going Private

I just figured out how to go private and will be doing it just for peace of mind. Please leave a comment here with your email if you still want to follow my blog. Even my family and close friends leave your email so that I can make sure I have your current email addresses.

The results are in !!!!!!!!!!

As the nurse put it, we have good news and bad news. The good news is that you are pregnant. The bad news is that you will have to continue your progesterone shots for the next 6 weeks! That is not bad news to me. We do this everytime and it is way easier to do shots knowing that you are doing it for a sweet little baby growing inside of you. Up until this point all shots are just hoping to become pregnant. Now that we know that we are, the shots seem like nothing (almost)! Needless to say, we are SO EXCITED! My HCG levels were a little high and the nurse said that there is "definately a possibility" of having twins! Either way, I can't wait to see the heartbeat or heartbeats. That moment definately makes it more real! We will be going back up to the U on the 23rd for a viablility ultrasound. This is where they will count heartbeats and measure everything to see if it is likely to be a viable pregnancy. Yeah! Thanks again to everybody for all your support! We definitely have enjoyed the love coming from all of our family and friends! Here goes pregnancy # 4, due date November 11th!

A fabulous weekend getaway to St. George!

Grandma and Grandpa Clark had a condo in St. George last weekend and invited us to come along. Of course we said yes and were way excited! We had so much fun and it was a perfect diversion to waiting to find out if IVF worked or not! Here is E in his rock picture frame. This picture makes me laugh it's as if he is not sure about what is taking place or how he feels about it.

Mylie fell asleep on the hike so Grandma, Grandpa and Jase took Ethan the rest of the way! Thanks guys! I know it was more work than you let on!

Grandpa and E and Jason's leg. How cute!

How Mylie felt about the hike!

We also did a 3 mile bike ride. Ethan rode his bike the whole way! (so what if it was all downhill :) It was great to be out in the great outdoors with a little heat!

My sweet little boy sharing his apple with his baby! I love when he calls her that!

Jeff, Ethan and Grandpa also spent some time fishing. The little duck in the background also had a great time. The story I heard was that the duck kept trying to steal the bait off their hooks. Grandpa and Jeff's lines got tangled so and the duck hurried at the oppurtunity to grab the bait. Grandpa tried to yank the line away from him and somehow hooked a duck. The line broke so he finally talked the duck into coming close to get some bread and got the hook out of his mouth. Dad maybe fishing is not your thing! :)

Cute boys fishing!

My cute little girl getting lathered up!

Ethan had planned from the begining of the trip that he was going to have a race with grandpa on grandma's scooter. Granpa is always a good sport!

Lunch Break!

My cute boy!

The hot tubbers!

The four of us!

Shooting hoops!

Slam dunk!

Hide and Seek! Thanks again for the trip mom and dad! Our lives would not be nearly as adventurous if it weren't for the two of you. Thanks for all the great vacations you provide us with. We are very lucky to have you both! Thanks for everything! We love you!

Preschool Day at the Flower Patch!

Ethan and his preschool class got to go to the flower patch for a fieldtrip. They had so much fun! I never would have thought of this idea and the kids had a great time making flower arrangements. I was on bed rest during this time so Jeff had the pleasure of accompanying the kids! I'm so glad he brought the camera and captured all the moments I missed!

This is Mylie's new "pretty" smile! She is very proud of her arrangement! Not bad eh?

Ethan and his best preschool buddy Mason and of course Mylie!

Ethan showing off his beautiful arrangement. I would have to say that I am very impressed. They were so cute when they came home and ran straight to my bed and said that they had made them for me!

All tuckered out. One day Ethan asked me to turn the heat up so that he could put his feet on the vent. I was making dinner and when I turned around there he lay! What a cutie!

Happy Birthday to Jeff (a while back :)

So, apparently we didn't take pictures at Jeffs birthday dinner so these are two days later at our friend Jamon's Birthday Party. Happy Birthday Jeff and Jamon! Sorry Jeff...........did we take pictures that night? I think that I was still on heavy IVF drugs does that count?

Our friends had the great idea to go and try I Fly Utah! It was lots of fun. Jeff had a great time doing it and I had a great time watching. It was very entertaining!

Mylie's 2nd Birthday!!!!!!!!!

Here is my 2 year old cutie! We had a great Dora Fiesta at our house to celebrate the occasion! Thanks everyone for coming and for bringing lots of fantastic gifts. Mylie has enjoyed them all immensely! I absolutely love this little girl! I think that everybody should have the chance to have a little girl in their family. She is so sweet and loving and a joy to be around! She knows how to count to 12, some of her ABC's, twinkle twinkle, she talks very well and even knows a knock knock joke that she repeats frequently throughout the day. If anyone is crying she gets very concerned and pats them and says "don't cry, it's okay" over and over again. I love her so much and cannot imagine life without her!

These two have always been cute together but lately it has become even more of a bond. I love when they don't know that I am watching and Ethan strokes her hair or gives her a kiss on her head! He is so sweet to her most of the time and always protects her. She, in return, would follow him anywhere and do anything he tells her to do! I love these kids! I am so thankful to have them both!

Mylie in her cute rocking chair Grandma gave her for Christmas.

Mylie was done taking pictures and would only agree to one more if the monkey could be in it! She is so stubborn at times! I wonder where she gets that from?

Pinata time! Way to go Ethan!

She loves all of her gifts! This is a medical set and baby that she got from Grandma and Grandpa Frazier.

She also loves her new Dora undies and prefers to wear them on the outside of her clothes! I think it is a great new look! What do you all think?

Mylie's discovery of make-up!!!

I now have to put my make-up on secretly as to not let little Mylie see it. She absolutely loves it! Whenever she sees me put on lipstick she sticks her lips out and looks at me with a desperate look of desire. She is hilarious. She also likes to put anything on her eyes. On this day I let her hold my mascara while I was frantically getting ready to go somewhere not knowing that she could open it herself! Apparently she could! Looking good My!

Welcome Davis!

Welcome to the family little Davis! My sister had her baby about three weeks ago and I posted it but it my blog is messed up so here goes try # 2! What a cutie!

All of us with the new cousin! Ethan was excited and Mylie thought he was cute as long as I wasn't holding him!

Davis and Mom! Way to go both of ya!

Cancun......a little late!

After a wonderful offer from my mom and dad to watch the kids while we vacationed, here we are in Cancun enjoying the sun, sand and alone time! What better present could you give your kids, really? Thank you so much mom and dad! This was a much needed break before the whole IVF experience!

We had a great time eating when we wanted to eat, what we wanted to eat and without a child or two on our laps! We also had fun swimming, body surfing, laying out, reading books, sleeping and just being together and able to talk without interruption!

Jeff showing his strength! I know, what a dork, but a lot of other tourists copied us right after telling us what a great idea it was! How nerdy all us people are!

Us at Chichenitza! This was a fun day! What an amazing place. I loved looking at all the ruins and marveling at the work that must have gone into creating them all. Although I loved this day, I am glad that every other day of our trip was spent relaxing.

A friend we made at the ruins! He was huge!

The Cenote we stopped at on the way to Chichenitza! How beautiful!

Thanks Jeffy for taking the time to go on a fantastic vacation with me! I have missed you since you have been in school and will miss you again when you go back. This was a much needed break and I am glad that it all worked out so well! I love you tons! Thanks again mom and dad! You guys are the best!
