In Memory of Grandma Caldwell

For the forth straight year we have participated in the race for the cure. We do it in memory of our Grandma Caldwell who lost her battle against breast cancer a little over 27 years ago. I was only 5 years old when she died and I wish I got to know her better. Although I didn't know her well, I know that she was a great person just looking at my mom. She must have been extraordinary to raise such an amazing mom like my mom! Grandma Caldwell, you are truly missed!

I encourage everyone who missed this race and a chance to raise money to find a cure to come and join us next year. Not only is it a lot of fun, it also humbles you to see how many people of all ages are battling this horrible disease! I am truly thankful for my life and my health!

This is the whole gang! We had the biggest group so far this year. I hope it will continue to grow. I love how many of my family and Jeff's family were able to participate this year! Thanks for coming everybody and making it a great experience. I am so proud of all of you! Kim, I expect you to join us next year! We missed you tons!

One hot mama finishing the race! She doesn't even look like she broke a sweat! Way to go mom!

My mom and her sister Shannon. Good job ladies!

Thursdays at Mom and Dad's House

My mom has decided to do lunch at her house on Thursdays. It is so much fun! It usually ends with a story from Grandma!

Tay and E sword fighting wearing Grandma's home-made capes!

We went for a walk today and this is how Ethan wanted to travel. Nice sweat band Grandma!

This is how Tayler wanted to travel! (even while falling asleep)

Tayler riding Kai! Although he looks like he is crying that is his smile for the camera! So cute!

E in a tree!

My in a tree!

E in another tree!

My mom has a great neighborhood with lots of places to walk and a stream running through it. The kids loved the adventure!

Throwing weeds in the stream

Grandma had to assist the boys across the stream! Way to go Grandma. Thanks for all the fun Thursdays and the excellent lunches! Kim get back home and join us!

The Front Runner

Well, there were a few free days to ride on the front runner, and seeing that I will do anything to take advantage of anything free here we are!

We went with some of Ethan's friends. Here they are watching other people board while we wait for our turn.

Now we are waiting on the bench!

On the train!

Just some fun pictures to share!

Jada and Ethan were playing the other day and they said they had been practicing making faces. I had to take pictures because they looked so darn cute! This is their scared face!

Silly Face!

Mad Face!

Sad Face!

Happy Face!

I came into Ethan's room and they were both sitting on this chair and Ethan was reading Mylie stories. It was so cute! By the time I got the camera they had put the book down, but still a cute picture!

Mylie played with golf balls for a long time this day. She especially had fun in the picture above throwing all of the golf balls out of the back of the Jimmy onto the driveway. Lot's of fun for mom to clean up too!

They love speghetti Night!

This is Ethan after getting ready for church all by himself! He would only let me take a picture if he could make a silly face!

Despite the face in the picture, Mylie really did like being pulled around in the sled!

Soccer has come and gone!

Here is Ethan's little cheer leader!

Time with the coach!

Mylie walking with G-pa Frazier

All the kids were very proud of their medals at the end of the season! Way to go kiddos!

Little E! Ethan did a very good job at most of the games. He made about 3-5 goals at 3 of the four games! Way to go E!

Holding hands!

Cute Kids!

They just kept laughing at each other! All I wanted was one cute picture with them both looking at me. Is that too much to ask?

They thought this was hilarious. It did make a cute picture I suppose!

Cute little My!

Mylie taking a moment to dance!

I think that this is as close as we got to both looking at me and smiling!

Cute pose sitting together, but again no eye contact!

Mylie worn out from the photo shoot!

Emergency Preparedness Fair

Okay, I know, I have lot's of catching up to do! This was an emergency preparedness fair that happened about a month ago. Ethan absolutely loved it!

This was the coolest part! Ethan got to wear a real fireman's helmet! For those of you who didn't make it, you missed out! The Firemen said that the fire station down here has a room set up like a house that they can fill with smoke and teach your kids what to do in case of a fire! Just call and make an appointment!

What a cute little family!
