Mylie and Kira (just hanging out)

We watched Kira the other day and the girls had a great time copying each other and laughing the whole time. I love having neighbors so close with kids similar ages! Notice (not that I need to point it out) Mylies albinoness and her size in comparison to little petitie Kira. (Mylie is 5 months younger!)

Dancing with a snack! What could make it a better day?

Kira trying to copy Mylie's tilt head cheese for pictures! We had lot's of fun this day. I felt like I had twins and it was great! Not that I really want to wish that on myself permenantly. I'll just borrow a child every once in a while!

The 23rd (Bountiful Parade)

Mim and My

G-ma and My

Here is some of the gang getting ready for the parade! We love going to this parade every year and it's even better when the Roarkies are in town to enjoy it with us! I absolutely love the July festivities! I'm a little sad though because we have not found something way fun that we like to do on the night of the 24th. We used to go down town to sugar house or liberty park for fireworks. These places are not great places to bring kids due to the constant smoking and fear of your child being taken every two seconds! Therefore, lately we just watch Muller Parks fireworks from a distance and go to bed. It's an okay night but if any of you have anything better let me know! This year we went to my mom and dads and we actually had a great view of the fireworks and lots of fun so maybe this is the new tradition?

Ethan and Mylie (just hanging out)

So I finally (almost) got Mylie's hair into two low pony tails! This is my absolute favorite way for little girls to do their hair! I have been hoping for this day since she was born. Isn't she a cutie?

For the next few pictures I need to start with a comment. Mylie has been obsessed with Ethan's jammies for a while now. Usually she just wants to carry them around the house right after he takes them off in the morning. If anyone even gets close to her she yells "NO, MINE" and runs away! We all think it is strange yet hilarious. Well this night she kept refusing to put the pants of her jammies on and wanted to run around in her diaper. I was getting Ethan into his jammies and only had his shirt on when she grabbed his bottoms and high tailed it out of the room. She then brought them back to me and said "on, Mimy." (this is what she calls herself) So that is how she slept that night.

She also wants to where every pair of her and Ethan's jammies while I'm folding laundry!

Cooking dinner! Ethan thought it was a good idea for them to wear aprons.

Mylie wearing everything I'm folding! I know it's out of order but it wouldn't let me switch it.

Ethan pretending he has a brother. Mylie not caring!

Park City

We all decided to have a fun little outing to Park City in hopes to find some bargains! Not great deals at the moment, though fun all the same! We still had lot's of fun talking about growing up and and had a yummy dinner as well. We were also able to visit my two cousins while we were there which we rarely see. So, overall it was a great outing! Thanks everybody for coming!

Bear Lake (trip # 2)

Here we are at the Minnetonka Caves! I've done this once before without kids, I bet you can guess which one was easier! It actually wasn't too bad, my mom carried Ethan up and down all 888 steps and my dad carried Mylie part of the time! So I guess it depends who you ask if it was easy or not. We will just have to see if I am invited next time!

What a cute picture. My and her papa she loves sooooo much!

Dad carrying Mylie once again!

All the girls waiting for the tour to begin!

The bat we saw at the cave entrance! YUCK!

The kiddos hiking in the forest!

Mim looking cute by a tree!

Some of the gang minus me!

Some of the gang minus Dad!

Soooo cute! My and Grandma taking a walk! Thanks everybody for your help so that my kids didn't fall off the cliff! This was a little nerve wrenching for a mother of two kids who don't quite understand danger yet!

Playing at the beach! Ethan was covered with mud and I didn't get there until he was being washed off by Grandpa!

Tan covered in mud!

Close-up!

My little cutie!

Chasing the seagulls!

Hanging out in the hammock!

Smores! Yum! Thanks mom and dad for yet another wonderful Bear Lake vacation. You always make it so relaxing and enjoyable. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your beautiful cabin so that we all have a fantastic retreat to enjoy!

The Peace Gardens!

My mom had the great idea for us to spend some time at the Peace Gardens! It was lot's of fun! Thanks mom! Here is beautiful Kals among the flowers!

All the kids minus My who again refused to be in the picture!

Ethan would only pose for this picture if I let him pretend he was wrestling the snakes!

My two little monkeys!

Weston's Gateway Outing!

Weston invited us all and paid for us all to go see Wall-e at Gateway! Thanks Weston that was way fun. We decided to let the kids cool off after the movie. Here is My and Wes cuddling! So cute!

Enjoying the shade!

Mylie refused to be in this picture!

Does this look safe?

Notice the difference between Kali and E's pose for the camera!
