Jeff's trip to Asia

So at the end of March, for two weeks, Jeff had the amazing oppurtunity to travel to Asia! He got to go to Tokyo, Japan, Seoul, Korea, and Hong Kong, China! He had a great time and brought back lots of fun presents for the kids. This is Mylie in her way cute jammies! I have tried to get Jeff to do this update since he has been back but I doubt it will happen, so here goes nothing! He may have to fill in the blanks later, I can't remember all the details or which temple is which!

Random update

Ethan has become quite the climber. He will climb anything he can. This was during a Young Women's activity when he thought it would be fun to scale the outside of the deck! He was very proud of himself as you can see!

Mylie and Ethan were playing way too good together one evening while I was doing the dishes. Instead of seeing what they were up to, I happily finished the dishes in peace and then headed down the hall to witness the distruction. On my way to Mylie's bedroom I noticed that the linen closet was open and nearly empty and so I new it wouldn't be good. Ethan said that Mylie wanted him to build her a fort so he got out every blanket, towell, washcloth, pillowcase and sheet that we own and spread them in layers all over Mylies floor! This took me about an hour to refold and put back into the closet! Oh well, I got my dishes done, right? In this picture Mylie is the mom with long hair (hence the towell) and Ethan is the dad and they are dancing.

Cute Random Pictures!

This is Mylie doing "sniffy" with her blankie and her "cool dudes" or "gasses" (Sunglasses). We just started potty training her a few weeks ago and she got the pee part down like a pro. It only took her 3 days to pretty much perfect it. Poop on the other hand is a nightmare! She truly does not get it. We kept her in underwear for a couple weeks not wanted to backtrack on our pee progress. After two horrible accidents where the underwear failed us, of course at other people's houses (sorry Jill and Tasha :) we moved back to diapers. She still did great for about a week telling me when she needed to pee. Yesterday she decided that it was inconvenient to stop playing to go potty and starting peeing in her diaper again! What is a mom to do? I put her back into underwear today not wanted to lose that accomplishment. She has already had one accident! Any suggestions? I hate potty training!

Preschool and St. Patty's Day FUN!

For lunch on St. Patrick's Day they had green pudding and green Koolaid! They were a little bit scared of the pudding at first but in the end ate it all gone.

My sad attempt at making a Darth Vader cake. And no Greg it is not chubakka :) (I don't have any idea how to spell that) Although I am happy if it resembles anything Star Wars! His next cake was very plane with some of his Star Wars toys posed on top. Way easier!

Ethan's favorite present from Mimmy and the kiddos. Ethan really wanted a DS and this is an SP so he just calls it his PS. As long as he is happy we all are happy!
