The Race for the cure 2011

Here is my cute family just after the race!  We love doing this race every year!  Thanks again Melis for the hookups!

Thanks to some very helpful grandparents, Jeff and I were actually able to run the whole race without pushing strollers for the first time!  We have been running a lot lately and it was fun to push ourselves to see what times we could get.  I ran it in 27 minutes and Jeff ran it in 20!

Ethan is an amazing soccer player! I love watching him play! He is getting so good and is really loving to play! As I went to get pictures though, I didn't have hardly any! I have been spending a lot of time at the playground now that Arie knows what it is. So sad for E! I did love to watch him though, and he really is good!

Go E go! I don't know where the rest of his team is but way to go E!

All bundled up for the game! It has been freezing this year at most of the games! The only way I have kept the girls somewhat sitting still is to bundle them up and stick them in a seat.

A day in the life........................

I love when I find all three of them lost in books in Ethan's room. A lot of the time Arie is on Mylie or Ethan's lap and they are reading to her!

Of course I had to make them turn and smile!

Mylie is way into picking her own outfits and striking a pose! This outfit actually somewhat matched! That never happens!

They love to snuggle!

Arie is very very very obsessed with her towell right now. If she sees it, it must be put on her. And it needs to be put on exactly right. I fear she may have Mylie's clothing issues! The hood has to be on but not too low and not too high and then it needs to be wrapped around her shoulders with her hands gripping it! Oh My! If is not done right immediately we risk the chance of a complete meltdown! Oh Fun! In this picture she actually had to eat her dinner this way!

E is 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Ethan! I can't believe you are 7! That sounds so old to me! Ethan, you are such a great kid. I love how helpful and caring you are to your two little sisters. I love how sweet you are! I don't think that a day goes by that you don't tell me how beautiful I am and how much you love me! Keep that up! I love how smart you are. I love that you take school very seriously and are very good at everything so far. You love to read. I can't believe that you are already reading chapter books! You also read and passed the most amount of AR tests in your class! Way to go! I love to watch you play soccer and baseball. You do a great job and are getting better and better as time goes on. You are definately an asset to your soccer team! You score most of the goals most of the time. You also like to pretend like you are the goalie and you have stopped many goals from being scored from the other teams. I love to watch you play with your little sisters. You and Mylie could get lost in a game of pretend for hours! You are so sweet with Arie and you always protect her. You often say how you just love your girls! You also have told me on several occasions that Arie is so beautiful she makes you cry and you have been misty eyed some of the times! I love you so much! Thanks for joining our family!

The family party was great fun. We played a game like dodge ball and had fun just hanging out with everybody. The new wiggle cars were a hit!

Ethan taking on the whole team!  He played amazing this year!  He scored most of the teams goals during most of the games!  I even had a mom say "wow it looks like somebody needs to learn how to play on a team"!  Oh well!  Maybe later we will stress that! For now I will let him bask in his glory!
